Realme Pad launch date
Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme Pad. The company’s first tablet is expected to debut on September 9. Realme India is yet to make an announcement about the tablet’s launch in India. It is likely to unveil the large-screen tablet first in China.
MySmartPrice has previously leaked the key details and design renders of the new Realme tablet. It will have an aluminium unibody construction and come in shades of Grey and Gold. The tablet’s rear panel has a dual-tone finish, along with a straight line that goes through the single camera module. It does not come with an LED flash.
The Realme Pad will have a 10.4-inch AMOLED display. It will have slightly thick black bezels around the display. Notably, the tablet has a camera sensor on the right edge when held vertically (or top-edge when placed horizontally). The choice of placing the front camera seems pretty practical for video calls. A recent leak revealed that both the front and rear camera will have an 8MP f/2.8 sensor. The only difference between the two is that the front camera will have a fixed focus, whereas the rear camera will come with auto-focus.
The frame on one side features the power button and two speakers, whereas the other side has a USB Type-C port and two more speakers. The tablet also has a small cutout at the bottom, which is likely to hold the stylus. The volume rocker is located on the frame, close to the camera module.
Realme’s first tablet will pack a 7,100 mAh battery and is likely to support fast charging. It will have a 6.8mm thickness. Lastly, the company could launch the tablet in a 6GB + 64GB configuration at least. It could also come in WiFi-only and LTE models. There is no word on the pricing details at the moment. We can expect the tablet to launch under or around Rs 30,000 in India
